|||
Harold Gordon Campbell was born in Musselburgh, Scotland, to Peter and Mary Alice Campbell. Shortly after Harold was born, the family moved to South Shields, and his father became manager of a local cement works. Harold joined the High School in 1899, and left in 1905 to go to Armstrong College. He joined the Royal Engineers for the war, and became 2nd Lieutenant. Although he is believed to have survived the war, little more is known about him. |
