The appointment of the deputy Head, Ken Gibson, as the new
Head Teacher of Harton School left a vacancy. On Tuesday, 15th July, the
Governors apppointed Mrs Christine Braybrook to the post.
Mrs Braybrook was, at one time, Assistant Head Teacher at
King George School, and is currently working as a co-ordinator
for the South Tyneside LEA.
Scott Duffy, one of Harton School's Governors said:
It was obvious that Mrs Braybrook had the creativeness and flair to
work with the new Head, Mr Ken Gibson, to take Harton School to the
next level. We look forward to welcoming Mrs Braybrook to Harton during
the Autumn Term.
