This classroom, located on the east corridor, is typical of the classrooms in the school. A small raised platform is provided for the teacher, and each room was equipped with a cupboard. The room was built to accommodate 30 boys. This photo was originally labelled "Room 17", but in fact outside the window is a building with a pitched roof and careful examination of the original scan of the photo shows that this building is the cycle store at the east end of the school. The roof of the toilets is also visible, and just beyond is the much higher roof of the metal-work room. This would make this photo of Room 7, not 17.
